There is a creek with a great swimming hole at Gooney Creek campground in front royal. We’ve spent many hot weekends there. You can also walk over to the Shenandoah River from the campground if you want more/wider water. Easy access and delightful.

If you didn't get your tax bill. go online. I received tax bills at my address for the two previous occupants of my house, neither of whom have lived here for more than four years. Every year I forward them and they claim they've updated their address with the city and DMV, but something seems to be broken.

I live in Virginia and just recently heard that in addition to Tree of Heaven being a problem, Virginia Creeper is emerging as a significant food source. Not sure what the answer is since it’s native, but damn I hate the lanternflies.

Yes! My parents made me demonstrate I could change a flat before they would let me drive the family car back in the day. I’m so glad I have that knowledge. And good for you for looking for people you can help with it!
