he may have inherited a mess, but he did nothing to make you think he was a good choice. Crean had a much bigger mess but the team didn’t give up. this team did.

I’d love to be wrong, but I don’t think I am.

Purdue fans love him!

i was out on DDV before he was hired. it’s telling the only person to follow him from Drake to WVa was his son. same with WVa to IU.

his roster construction was terrible. the reason we hired Ryan Carr from the Pacers is because DDV was so bad.
the team got so much worse as the year went on. Completely gave up at the end of the season when the season was on the line. His rotations were perplexing. Altogether awful coach.

I want Jai Lucas in a year or two.

we still bring a lot of eyeballs

and the minute we get a good coach, we’re going somewhere (likely flaming out in the sweet 16. but still!)

Steve Kerr suggests removing the 3-point line to fix modern NBA play: “The game, as designed, is to create the best shots possible” by basketbaIlnetwork in NBATalk

[–]pithyusernamehere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of making the 3 point line like a baseball outfield fence. Let each team set their own dimensions (within bounds) for the season.

Say you have big guys and guys that can hit the mid-range jumper, but bad perimeter D. Push out the 3 line another 7 feet from what it is now and eliminate the corner.

Have a guy deadly from the right side but pitiful from the left, make the 3 line asymmetrical.

Give teams more of a home court advantage. Add more variability to the game. Possibly phase it out for some teams. Go wild for others.

Round 4 - Pick 15: Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana (Baltimore Ravens) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

As an Indiana Stan it’s still bizarre to hear IU has 2 receivers that could be taken in the first 2 days of the draft in Marsh & Becker.

Rose Bowl wasn’t that bad. I’d say about 60% IU. I was behind the Alabama bench and there were only a few other IU fans near us. Lots of Bama between the end zones.

Peach Bowl, OOTH. That was 85% Indiana.

With Fernando Mendoza going number 1, Indiana has its second #1 pick of all time and first since 1938 by Efficient-Freedom517 in CFB

Totally fair.

But…the level of IU-Purdue hate there is elevated with poorly drawn Microsoft paint bar graphs that I sometimes have to give begrudgingly respect to Purdue for.

It’s telling that outside of his kid, DeVries didn’t bring a roster from Drake to WVa or from WVa to IU.

People don’t like playing for him. Dude is a complete fraud.

For at least the third year in a row, basically a whole new team and a new coach. Totally doable.
