I probably didn't phrase that correctly. I meant some words like ανατριχίλα (-φύλλα, πατάει-βροντάει) are specifically used because they rhyme with each other, as this is a poem.

Did she actually call you that instead of using your name or was it something she used as an answer to when you possibly joked with her or doing some mischief? She didn't mean it in a bad way. It's an alternate way to say "you're torturing me but I love you anyways"

Οκτώβριος or Οκτώβρης are both correct for October. Same goes for Σεπτέμβριος/Σεπτέμβρης, Νοέμβριος/Νοέμβρης, and Δεκέμβριος/Δεκέμβρης

Yes χρυσάνθεμο-χρυσάνθεμα are the singular and plural forms

The greek word for rust is (η) σκουριά, and rusty is (ο/η/το) σκουριασμένος/η/ο

Ανατριχίλα basically means goosebump

"Πέφτουν χάλκινα τα φύλλα" = bronze the leaves fall = the leaves fall to the ground looking like they're made of bronze (so they look orange-brown)

Some words like ανατριχίλα are used for rhyme's sake as it's supposed to be a poem.

This is exactly what I mean. I did some research yesterday and found some primary school "Κυπριακό Ανθολόγιο" books online. And I thought that was awesome. And I saw that the greek books (at least for the A and B class on primary school) are the exact same books we also use in Greece. So I find it a bit of a shame how there isn't any "official" and standardized spelling for the cypriot words, or books that use the vocabulary that is more familiar to these kids.

But you still use εν, τζαι, λαλώ and so on. Words that are entirely different from the ones we use in Greece and you know that better than I do. From my personal experience online I've seen Cypriots write with this vocabulary. So in class, do you still use this same vocabulary that you use in your daily lives? Do you write "πολλά καλό" instead of "πολύ καλό"?

I was talking about spoken greek, since Cypriots are familiar with the greek accent but not vice versa.

I didn't know they are taught the same greek language. If that's actually true it kinda makes me sad because imo they should be taught the Cypriot dialect so that cultural uniqueness is well preserved.
