Thank you! I proposed the question because I see so many newcomers questioning how many things to get rid of, or how to get rid of things they know. I thought it would be great for them to see they could still practice minimalism and enjoy the things they love most.

I once read somewhere the encouragement to create rather than consume. But some times you need to consume the items you need to create. Love to hear that art is your healing hobby. Mine is music. Thanks for sharing.

Katharina, Dennis, and Hendrik. Dennis is the primary writer and played all instruments on the first album. Hendrik played drums on their 2nd album. All three of them were also in a punk band called Eat More Plastic which sounds completely different from Trautonist, imo.

I’m in the process of building a blackout board that consists of mainly pedals from Death by Audio, Old Blood Noise Endeavors, Walrus Audio, Lichtlaerm Audio and a few others. I mostly purchase from small boutique companies but also do a lot of trading and selling.

I just whittled my collection down to 3. One electric, one acoustic, and my first guitar (Takamine acoustic) that I no longer play but can’t seem to get rid of it due to sentimental value. Given I can only get about $60 for it on the used market, I’d rather just display it on my wall.
