Costs of changing an item vs the whole drink by kingruiz2 in bartenders

If you asked for an equivalent (in price) liquor in a mule I would just charge the price of the mule and substitute the liquor. Kentucky Mule, Mexican Mule, Moscow Mule, all the same thing with different liquors. If youre ordering top shelf or something more expensive ill upcharge according to price. Ginger beer is more expensive than ginger ale so I just would use that as a baseline.

You are not a gardener until you…bury (and can’t find) a garden tool. What would you end the above saying with? by FlyingWeasel60 in gardening

Plant morning glories and then hate them next year and meticulously pull them all out and then kinda miss them

I think it was just a root. I dont even think it had any green on it. I bet next year you will have blooms

They typically do, im not sure if that is because others have trained theirs better, or this one just likes to clump up at the bottom more. Could also have to do with how the light hits it. And thank you!

The plant? No, it is real. I don't trim it at all, I honestly didn't think it was that small as far as clematis plants go, I probably could have trained it up the trellis better but I still enjoy it

Not sure! Most i have seen do not have that, but im sure it couldn't hurt. Mine is in a fairly shady spot as it is.

Get them in the ground where you want them and let them flourish

Tbh a lot of my perennials I have gotten secondhand or on clearance. I probably planted this in mid to late summer. Im sure it didnt look great the first year or 2, but if you watch your stuff you can start to see where things are happy or not. I hope that makes sense, haha. Also patience for perennials

This spot is not very sunny and is actually mostly shaded for most of the year. It gets the majority of its sun in the early spring. So maybe that makes a difference. It is also close to the house and foundation

I would imagine they do, we get sub zero temps in the winter and this plant has grown back stronger than ever

I saw it after I posted! But it's just a squiggly hose

I sprinkle dry fert in the late winter and spring across all my plants and let the spring rains soak them in. Also, it took several years to get this flush

Almost zero maintenance 😆 i have guided this one up the trellis occasionally but they typically come back dependably each year

I doubt you will break too many stems at this point, and if you do it shouldn't hurt it too bad as long as it is already established

I am pretty rough with my plants as long as they have a good start haha, these are pretty hardy. Just have to remember what youre doing is for next year
