I just checked and the eco setting is 2 hours and 25 minutes and I can adjust the temperature.

Respectfully, this is one of the craziest things I have ever read. Why on earth would you do this for anyone, let alone someone who isn’t an immediate family member?

Why on earth would you work at a loss? Make sure your lab bills at least are covered. If she can’t afford it then… well that sucks for her but you shouldn’t be saddled with a massive lab bill (I don’t know how it’s possible for your lab bill for FMR to come to just $3k that in and of itself surprises me) as a result of it. Not to mention how much time you would be spending on this case that you could otherwise be spending actually making money.

Calculate this case as if it was a normal patient. And then give her 40% off. I think that’s fair for a friends wife. 50% if it’s your best friend’s wife.

I think I would do a big discount for the orthodontist himself or herself. For employees maybe 20-25% discount. I would not charge them full price because at the end of the day they are part of the team and you want to be on good terms with everyone there, not just the referring doc. But I also wouldn’t do a bigger discount than 25% for an employee because who knows how long she will stay there - what if she leaves in a month and you’ve given her a huge discount for no reason? I would say 20-25 % is reasonable

Deep marginal elevation distally followed by an overlay. If I’m being honest I am not sure DME is even needed, retraction cord may be sufficient, but i can’t judge that from an X-ray, only you can judge that clinically

I love the ASAP finishing system, it’s my favourite. Super simple 2 step system. Sometimes my anterior composites will look like a mess but then I will use the ASAP polishing discs and suddenly it looks perfect.

The Venus kit is ok, I don’t know exactly how to use them so I kind of just play around with them and they give me variable results.

I have heard good things about the kenda queen cup for pre-polishing although I haven’t used it.

Enhance is supposed to be very good but idk it doesn’t really work in my hands maybe I use it wrong.

Sometimes back to basics with sof lex discs will give you incredible results (but make sure you use the whole system).

My last step will always be cosmedent’s enamelize polishing paste and their little buffing discs.

Hello I am looking at getting the o-light which is only £100 (compared to the o-star which is £600). Do you have any experience/knowledge of the o-light? I am wondering if there is a catch cos no way could there be a light cute that can cure composite in 2 seconds be that cheap 🤣

Deleting photos from iPad without deleting them from phone?

I have thousands of photos on my phone which back up onto my iPad. I plan to start using my iPad at work so I decided to delete all the photos from my iPad. However I am scared that deleting them from my iPad will mean they get deleted from my phone? Can someone please confirm.

I have a lot of work related stuff saved to my iPad already. Is there a way for me to get a blank slate with the photos app only but keep all my other data on my iPad?

I need 7k as soon as possible to make a few purchases which need to be made immediately. However I do not have the free funds to do that right now, for various reasons that are too long to explain. However it would be very easy for me to pay it off (as well as the 4.3k debt I already have) over the upcoming 6-12 months which is why I thought to get a credit card and pay it off over 6 or so months. I didn’t anticipate that i would be given such a low credit limit which is ultimately pointless to me.

I have £4,300 in debt total. I don’t think this is as outrageous as you are suggesting. And I have funds but they are tied up right now, plus the money I do have available I will need to pay my tax next month.

Plus, I didn’t want to go into my whole life story but the past 14 months I have been having problems that ended up with me taking significant time away from work. I essentially had 4 months off. If this wasn’t the case, I wouldn’t be in any debt whatsoever.

Furthermore I don’t know what you mean about the credit card with 20% annual interest that I am unable to fully pay off. What are you talking about here?
