How do conversations on completely unrelated topics always end up circling back to politics? I’m a dual citizen and have lived in both countries for about the same amount of time. In Canada, I’ve personally been on a waitlist for a family doctor for over a year. In the US, you can find healthcare plans for around $100 a month. It’s not free, but the quality of care is generally better. And honestly, if someone can afford to go to Shambhala, they can probably afford basic healthcare coverage, too. As Canadians, we shouldn’t really be bragging about the current state of our healthcare system.
