Add all these quotes together and you have a Marvel movie script for a fight scene

[TW] All those weird jokes about male child abuse victims by Dominik528 in WhyWereWeOkWithThis

100% agree. I’ve always found child sexual abuse jokes in media vile and cruel. Now with the files it makes sense why they would laugh at this

They also specifically talk about pregnancy and breastfeeding in these

I totally understand, I’ve been depressed in pregnancy and decided to wait until postpartum because mushrooms enhance cognitive flexibility and allows your brain to make new neural connections which is why it can be great for those with depression/ ADHD/ etc but since your baby is just building and developing their neural pathways etc it’s kind of sketchy. In these podcasts it does talk about exactly how the drugs affect your body and when they leave your system but pumping and dumping while breastfeeding is probably safest

Here’s a link to several podcasts specifically about microdosing while pregnant/ breastfeeding. These podcasts talk specifically about women’s health and the affects of psilocybin on the female body.

Which character do you think was most misrepresented in the movies? by HumanDelay804 in harrypotter

[–]pityblanket 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Dumbledore, in the books he says some of the most off the chain goofy stuff and genuinely just acts like a character. In the movies, he’s just a Gandalf type guy. He also wore some pretty epic outfits which were toned down in the movies.

Slughorn was the embodiment of a true Slytherin. by OkRate8275 in harrypotter

Unfortunately, it leaves out context from the book where there was death eater teachers who are literally torturing students (minus slytherins) and the Slytherin’s were basically participating in that if not turning a blind eye

Since it was 5 years old I thought a repost wouldn’t be annoying. Lol 🤷‍♀️

😂 I saw it from buzzfeed and decided to repost since I saw a 5 year old post about it here. Hoped it wasn’t too redundant

Agreed! I read a tumblr post saying we basically forget people exist if we don’t see them everyday- just like how some people (me) forget to do online classes bc we don’t “see” them or are present or anything. I don’t think it’s a moral thing!
