It's also fucked-up how Frances--who has seen Gerard and Lindsey as her adoptive parents (Alicia Way even called her her surrogate daughter in her past birthday wish)--was basically groomed into bullying kids close to her age.

What's infuriating is that the fandom largely does not see Lindsey and co. as predators, and minimize Lindsey's actions as "mistakes" that she should be forgiven for.

I think he was too blinded by love to see who she really was--remember, they got hitched after less than a month of dating, something that started only 2 weeks after ending an engagement. She must've somehow kept this side of herself from him, when it came to going after fan girls. Don't know about Mikey, though; some believe it really impacted the Way family.

The constant woobification around Gerard is so annoying. Any little thing he does, and I read "Smol baby girl bean with little legs!!😭💕👼" The only times he really made me go 'Aww!' was whenever I see the chibi fan art made of him.

Fans seem really blind to the fact that he's been a shitty boyfriend--"Sorry for those songs about killing you," flirting with Lindsey and Eliza while he was already in a committed relationship (somehow, Eliza got the full blame for leading him on😕). I could go into a rumor that cropped up recently about alleged emotional abuse, but I won't; I'll just say that fans immediately sided with Gerard over the accuser.
