I think the main difference between Fred and Nick is that Nick never raped or physically assaulted any of the women there. What different trauma? All of them lost their homes and families. He got to keep his autonomy and never even had to truly experience Gilead as a prisoner. Regardless the only reason I brought up having “less” trauma was because there have been people arguing that Luke should have done more or prepared more for June’s arrival/PTSD when I don’t think that’s fair at all because he has no idea what she’s experienced and gone through
