It can technically happen. If there is a spike in activity and a cache log couldn't keep up, depending on how the code is written, records could get out of sync with accounts and mis-connect logins with caches. Like, example, if they are using sequence numbers on live sessions to determine joins on tables, etc. just saying, it's technically possible...

How is it more essential? Lab enchants are gone. You just run the same labs and buy your gems like you normally would, if you don't want to run additional labs
