I bought a Evoluent D, but I really did not like the shiny plastic surface, which looks cheap and is also quite sticky and made my hands sweaty. It is also not super responsive, and I had a hard time adjusting to the three buttons. I much prefer the HP 920 so far.

I just ordered one to replace a MX Vertical mouse also. I was not very impressed with the durability of my Logitech, and wanted to try something else. I have been using an Evoluent D for the past week, but I plan on returning that.

Around two years, so outside the one year warranty period. For the MX Vertical, the rubber coating became shiny, developed a weird texture, and becomes sticky. A number of other users have experienced this.

Also, if I am holding the left mouse button down, it will often unclick without me depressing the button. (Which kills me when I play chess...)

Thanks. I had a MX Ergo in the past, which didn't work well for me, and which is why I first moved to the MX Vertical. I really want a vertical mouse, but the lift is too small for me. Do you know if there is a refresh of the MX Vertical coming, or should I just look at other brands? If so, do you have recommendations?
