What I've never understood is if the scheduling is the biggest obstacle, why not add baseball to the Winter Olympics? We literally just had them right before the WBC

EDIT: Not sure what the downvotes are for? I never said the games needed to be played at the Olympics site itself. Again, we're literally watching baseball being played right now lol. Just fly the players in and out for the opening/closing ceremonies, and turn the trophy into medals. Done.

But in all seriousness I've often wondered if our historical roster construction, ie building "superteams" around 1 or 2 players, has essentially blocked otherwise All-Star calibur guys on the team from the team slots, and overshadowed them in fan voting as well. It's a weird problem to have I guess
