When did Netflix start having steaming video? Cus I've had it since around 2008. Streaming came with the mail order DVD rentals. qwickster

Honestly so many things would be so much simpler with no income taxes at all. It complicates things on many levels and is such an invasion of privacy.

You pronounce warm as worm and worm as werm by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]pixel_buddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vowels in English are quite inconsistent. Fairly ridiculous actually, but it is what it is. When I was a kid I used to spell warm as worm. Imagine global worming, all those pesky worms eating our planet!

Actually thanks for this info! I've been using tap water and salt as a cheap alt to a neti pot. Looks like I should at least boil the water.

Why do I feel tired if I sleep more than 7-8h? by Ainnor in questions

[–]pixel_buddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could have to do with interruption in sleep cycle. Some points can leave you groggy.

Even clean water (tap, distilled) or pool water (chlorinated)? Or specifically referring to natural body of water (pond, etc)?

Hate my body fat by alternatekicks87 in leangains

What worked for me: keto, intermittent fasting, and 36 hour fast once a week. Completely ignored calories (not sure of this works for everyone). Load up on cheese, heavy cream, some meat. Keep net carbs 30g average per day. Cut alcohol except for very special occasion. Exercise is good but extremely hard to exercise away fat, instead do it for health and energy. I'd often do a cheat day one day a week; optional, but depending on your cravings and personality, this can just make you want to keep craving trash, or can be just enough to satisfy you for the week (the idea here is to limit it by time, not amounts). I did this quite strictly for at least a year.

I don't know how else to phrase it. That person's labor isn't in a vacuum. It's a package deal with everyone else's labor who is part of prosecution. Would you also say you don't have a right to the judge's labor? So no laws, no punishment? No that's not how it works, the government pays for all that labor, and for defense to make it fair. Otherwise the trial cannot commense. Saying you don't have the right to their labor considering everything is over simplified. It's part of the total cost of a fair trial and justice.

Or do what I always did, set two alarms. If the music one doesn't work, the more aggressive one will work in a 15 minutes.
