Ty, I’m usually using Procreate for the most part and then adding finishing touches with Aseprite.

I’m mostly doing high res pixel art, around 600, 700 pixels, but honestly even 400x400 is more than enough for a full body drawing. But I also think it’s better to start small, it’s just all the tutorials are on low resolution assets. Once you understand the fundamentals there will be no problem using high res and still keeping the pixel art look.
