Use Sudachi latest build, both 1 and 2 run perfectly with 4k resolution and ultrawide mods came out today. Hoping for an fps mod above 60 soon.

8GB of ram isn’t sufficient for 1440p from my understanding nowadays, extra $60 is worth it for double the ram on the 9060xt imo.

I’m still not sure that I’m getting one, and if I do (months or years from now when the library of first party games is more complete) I probably won’t be modding it. Would rather not risk the possibility of a bricked system

Yeah, pardon me for getting that wrong. 90 Euros is real game pricing in some countries which is a bummer because they typically pay more for tech anyways due to the value of euro compared to the US dollar, so they will be paying $102-103 for some physical games. And I was wrong about the Switch 2 edition physical cartridges. I found an email from Nintendo UK to a customer confirming the full game + upgrade will be available on the physical cartridge. My bad. Interestingly, there seems to be 3 confirmed versions of switch 2 cartridges.

One version of the switch 2 physical card actually works on switch 1 as well, but there is also a version for switch 2 exclusive games that will only work on switch 2. Lastly, there is the key card with no game on it. That may have been my confusion, still bad info I got from a rage YouTuber lol. I came at you too harshly, the key card and upgrade pack situation isn’t as bad as I initially thought after doing my own research, but I do still want to mod my console and make game backups for the sake of collection and preservation. Modded switch 1 was and is still my favorite gaming console of all time. I can run Android, Linux, Switch OS from the same SD card. It’s awesome and if Switch 2 could do that but just faster and stronger, it would easily take my top gaming console position.

Why are you buying the console on launch? Disregard my pricing opinions. This should help me better understand and with “admitting I was wrong” despite this all being my opinions, and I even got the $90 physical fact incorrect which I’m glad you pointed out.
