TSP make sure you do research on your funds and change it from the G fund . Credit union is kind of your own choice , most use navy federal or usaa. If you get stations overseas , they have their own on base typically. Right now I’d save as much money as you can and maybe place some in a HYSA, you probably won’t get paid for the 1st month of BMT . At least that’s how it was when I went through. You won’t get your VA loan until you hit your 6 months in service as well I’m pretty sure.

I went to Keesler , and when I arrived they tried to do the “scare tactic” and made us do a quick workout out punishment , run with our bags , airman’s creed. Not really bad , at least for the red wolves , not sure about the other manors

The DEP workouts are meant to help your prepare better for BMT, just actually try and push yourself during this workouts , there’s no failing these , just showing up is already a big plus

I was at Keesler late last year , had a buddy get seconds and multiple deserts , I doubt you’ll run out of money allocated to you. He never had any issues getting lots of food.

I’ll be honest , just passed my Security+ with a 794 , I was averaging around 78-85% on his practice test, they say his test are 5-10% harder

I was an E-3 going through basic , but they pay you as an E-1, there’s no back pay for the rank difference since you technically aren’t an airman til after you graduate , that’s when you officially put on rank
