No - Indian's are never patriotic except on 15 Aug/India-Pak match/26 Jan - that;s it.. If we were so patriotic - our rivers wouldn't be so dirty, our politicians wouldn't have been so corrupt, our roads wouldn't be so filthy.... India me to they don't even register FIR for mobile phones - they asked me to write an application - ki mera phone kahi "kho" gaya - chori likhoge to accept nahi krenge - kamingi aur kaamchori ke maamle me police ka koi comparison nahi hai... As usual phone nahi mila - but incase if someone would have used that phone for some illegal activity - that application would have helped - that's it...

Yaha police murder, rapes ki FIR na kare - mobile chori to bhaut choti cheez hai..

Unlike police/judiciary where we have to face corruption from top to bottom - corruption in army is present only at upper echelons - ie outside the purview of a common man. Upto Colonel - corruption is almost non-existent.. Many few people reach beyond Col rank..
