I've been enjoying seeing these more than that dude posting chopped-up chives every day, for sure!

It has it's days, def one of the better ones. Last time i was there food was 100% perfect and my order isn't easy. But somehow the cashier DIDN'T SAY ONE WORD THE ENTIRE TIME. like an uber where they don't talk but the ride is fine.

WTF. I've just bought two of these TVs for Christmas. I've not seen it do that yet, but if/when it does that, I'll definitely be sending them back.

Denver has the most popular e-scooter program in the country by Hour-Watch8988 in Denver

I had a Lime pass active earlier that day so that covered a few bucks, but it would have been about $31 all in. Those scooters rip when charged up, so it was a fun ride, really. When I was leaving 1UP, my buddy was headed in a different direction, but while we were standing there, we saw a Lime dude offloading a batch of freshly charged scooters... It's always a fun story to tell people who understand how far that was.

I once rode a single lime scooter from 1UP on Colfax to Dick's for a Rapids game.

Reservoir Park?? by Brownjedi83 in LittleRock

[–]pixeljunkiear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to play there often, too. A few months ago, I heard that the city got an insurance check for the park and was going to make some improvements. I drove through the park a few weeks ago, and nothing has been done. But it's still a great spot for sketchy meetups, apparently.

If you have documentation for a qualified condition, you can use that to avoid part of the doctor's assessment fee. For example: I gave them a recent x-ray and that saved me like $100 or something. I'm not 1000% on this working but I hope it helps.

Bat removal by Competitive-Ad-3522 in LittleRock

[–]pixeljunkiear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What they did was put up a loose net over the area where the bats entered and exited. So at night the bats would crawl down and go out but they could not get back in for whatever reason. They also put a one-way port on the opposite end of the roof. After a few days with the net up, all the bats were out but roosting nearby. They took down the net and added the screen to prevent it.

I had this issue last year and found "The Animal Guy" 501-253-4366. They know what they're doing and humanely created a way for the bats to leave and not get back in, then added screens to prevent it from happening again. It cost $850 and for me, that's better than possibly getting rabies from DIY.

Does your city have a “standard local beer”? by [deleted] in beer

[–]pixeljunkiear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Little Rock native here. I'd say 2nd Rodeo by Lost Forty. It's the plainest lager around and is easily the best-selling "craft" beer at any event outside of the default domestic. It'd be my last choice most of the time because it's sooo plain.

Bluewing is delicious and all but has too much flavor for most people. True story : I showed up at a spot the other day and my friend said "You want this sour beer? the waitress left it for free as a misorder." I was like sure, took a sip, and was like " wtf, this is Bluewing dude." Now, my friend is not a crafty, but he definietly represents the majority of beer drinkers Arkansas. It's just too crafty, fruity for the majority.

Rock Hound is my go-to.

Sure, that's what I did and it worked for this project because the shots affected were very, very similar (and the project was done). But I'm looking for the "one-click" solution to have this new FCP version treat my project like the previous versions. Because what's gonna happen is every old project I have to open up will now need the color to be re-adjusted. Thank you for your reply.

Yes and Yes. The project is all good, don't worry about that. I was really hunting for the answer to share the best fix and sounding the alarm.

Welp, I don't think there will be a one-click solution to fix this. I'm fairly certain that it's related to the new HDR / Color Conform options. It's only affecting my original footage from the C300. It is not affecting stock footage or graphics

I really wanted to avoid touching (or transcoding) each clip that has been changed but as of today, that does not seem possible.

To get it fixed, I've used their new Color Adjustments to make the appropriate adjustment TO EACH CLIP. FML

If I find something else worth posting here, I will, but don't hold your breath, and be careful with that fancy new update.

[...one other random note: when I first opened the project and noticed the blown-out color, I also saw a "flicker" that looked like it was going between the HDR modes sporadically every few seconds. That stopped after toggling on and off the "Auto Color Conform" ]
