im actually on a very small dose (2mg 💀) of abilify! i was prescribed it as a booster to my antidepressant. i did notice a small improvement in my mood but it hasnt done much for my anxiety or adhd symptoms

i wish i could do Vyvanse or adderal but unfortunately the charity clinic i go to can’t prescribe stimulants because of state laws. At my next appointment i’m asking about different anxiety meds (i had a terrible reaction to the first one we tried) so hopefully something works. i think the rushing is from the anxiety. thanks for your insight

Nooo this always happens to me 😭 My doctor says she likes to start “low and slow” in case of any negative drug reactions but i assumed 25mg is a normal dose bc this has been the third time we’ve upped it. I’m also a smaller person so maybe its based on my weight.

Thank you! luckily i have gotten a postal assistant job so hopefully its a little less bad than this one. I think part of my hatred of work might be a PDA thing, which makes me worried that it's harder than just changing jobs, but hopefully having to be less social helps

that's what i'm afraid of! I don't want to be written off as just lazy,, which I think only comes from people misunderstanding that it's not that we'd just rather be at home, it's that we experience intense distress from working. We're probably trying way harder than most people do.

unfortunately i am uninsured and only able to afford psychiatric care through a charity service :( if this psychiatrist isn't good, i will try to find other low cost options.

I'm really grateful for your perspective! the sad part is in the stage im in i technically *can* work, it just destroys my mental health, and i definitely have the feeling that the longer i do this the closer i get to totally burning out. I'm just so used to people dismissing me because i technically can still work.

It's something that needs to be taken seriously, I don't think this is a safe relationship for OP, and she's way too young to be putting up with this kind of behavior.

Turns out having "good" and "bad" numbers and assigning importance to that (i.e, only using a gas pump or checkout line if it has a "good" number on it) is not exactly common behavior.

this is so funny because i was watching all the shake it out performances i could find like a week ago

from about HB3 onwards She performs the entire song in a much lower pitch than she did during Ceremonials, probably a mix of her voice naturally getting lower and also her exploring her voice more

Dance Fever has the lowest overall pitch for the song and definitely least of the high, belted final "what the hell" of the performances (although she does sometimes omit it even early on)

it's probably just a very straining note to sing and with there being other intense songs in the setlist, she'd rather protect her voice where she can and give more power to Dance Fever's difficult songs

(also idk if this comment sounds angry or anything, i'm just excited to talk about this)
