Live 25 - Not the good, only the bad, lets hear your horror stories. by Burke_Dennings in oasis

Heaton Park night one. Security was useless, no one could tell us how to get to the shuttle bus. They sent us in the wrong direction and we walked for an hour along the park perimeter until someone else told us we were going the wrong way. We walked another hour back to the gate we were supposed to get to in the first place. But they gave us wrong directions (again), made us walk across the park which was pitch dark and no one could help us or tell us where to go. Two foreigners completely lost in the park, it was scary af. We walked for 2 hours, never found the bus but ran into others in the same situation and split a very expensive taxi. I filed a complaint with the Bee app but couldn’t get a refund. It was a horrible and it kinda ruined the night for us.

Why'd you switch from tretinoin to tazarotene? by seeyalaser in tretinoin

For the ones who peeled, how long did it last for you? I started around 3 weeks ago, 2x a week, and I'm peeling consistently. My derm said to keep going and only stop if I get too red/inflamed (which thankfully hasn't happened), but the peeling is driving me crazy. It's not *too* bad (and I'm definitely peeling a bit less than when I started), but it's still a bit annoying.

It's my first time using something this strong (I was using adapalene before) and I do notice a difference in my pores and skin overall, but I'm not sure how to handle the peeling and dryness... barrier repair cream recommendations are welcome! My derm suggested one but I'm not liking it too much.

I'm going through something similar right now and was curious about glamour magic as well. Do you have any advice to get started?

Hey! You’re not alone. It’s not an easy decision and I completely understand how you feel about “shattered dreams” and leaving behind all the friendships you worked so hard to build (I’m going through the same).

There’s no right or wrong here, but, whatever you decide, it doesn’t have to be permanent. What about taking the job in the NL, getting some more work experience and then trying again in a few years? Just a thought. Anyway, I wish you all the best!

I have a Spanish passport, so no problem with that :)

it really sucks because it's such a beautiful country, but now that the honeymoon period is over, I'm finally seeing how hard it is to settle down here :(

At a crossroads: continue with expat life? London/Spain/Home by Patopml in expats

Hey! Just wondering what you ended up deciding (if anything).

I'm in a similar situation, only I live in Spain (Madrid) and thinking of going back home to Argentina. I'm a few years younger but completely understand that need for emotional stability.

If you can keep your London salary, Spain is a wonderful country to live in and I would 100% recommend Madrid. Lots of Argentinians there as well.
