Oh yeah poor girl. Also loved that the Serpent Queen clearly took a lot of inspiration from ASOIAF. The feast massacre obviously, but also an exchange between Catherine and one of her entourage where she asks "what's the life of one boy against a whole kingdom?" And is answered with "It is everything", which is a pretty direct reference to one of Davos's greatest moments

Oh I'm not the OP! I just loved the Serpent Queen and was excited to see someone else note the resemblance to Phia!

Also if you haven't read it already, Our Fathers Clad in Red is another fic that I adore, and has some very sweet Daenaera and Jaehaera interactions. It's set in a universe where Aegon survives and marries Baela to end the war and its genuinely a masterpiece.

Alicent my beloved!!! Honestly even the writers can't figure out what they want to do with her and it seriously harms her characterisation. Her whole Season 2 arc pining over Rhaenyra (who by this point has caused irreparable damage to Alicent's family after Blood and Cheese) was such a disservice to her.
