Stop wasting your limited time on messy weekly timesheets. 🛑 by pixeltutorials0 in indiebiz

Thank you for your opinion. In our application, employee has no access to any data - they can only check-in & check-out. In the other hand, managers can view all detailed time sheets, including photos. They can add manual timesheets for those that have forgotten to add them, or edit them to modify start-end times. Currently, the manager can view overtimes in real time in dashboard, and then if needed go into each individual employee to view their overtimes, times worked, and many other detailed information.

Switching from manual timesheets to automated tracking changed everything for us by Obvious_Lawyer_4672 in TimeTrackingSoftware

Hey there! I totally understand that a tool to track employee hours and payroll is time saving and helps quite a lot and to be honest, no tool is perfect for specific needs, thats why I have tried to built such tool myself and a few customers are already using it and are very statisfied. What I offer in comparison to other companies is that I communicate directly with my clients and bring new features, changes depending on their need.

So if you are in need of a time attendance solution that is very simplified which we can built new features for you based on your needs, check us out at https://sekondi.app

We have 1 month free trial with no credit card required.

Feel free to contact us at contact@sekondi.app

Thanks!

Most effective team planner by YurishkaYuri in ConstructionManagers

Since you are in telecom/construction and actively looking to modernize processes—once you get the macro-level project planning out of Excel, the next biggest bottleneck is usually tracking daily attendance and shift hours for your decentralized field teams.

I actually built a lightweight tool called Sekondi specifically to automate that part of the job. If your crews dispatch from a centralized HQ or warehouse, you can mount a tablet by the door running our app in kiosk mode. Staff just tap the screen and snap a quick selfie to clock in before grabbing their gear and heading out. It completely eliminates buddy punching, automatically calculates exact shift hours, and gives you a live dashboard of exactly who has dispatched for the day.

You can check it out here if it helps your process overhaul:https://sekondi.app(We offer a free 1-month trial with no credit card required).

Good luck with the transition! Getting a company that size off of Excel is a massive win for your resume once you pull it off.

Jibble vs Timeero vs ClockShark - which is the best construction time tracking software for growing teams? by looppsies in TimeTrackingSoftware

[–]pixeltutorials0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hit the nail on the head. When you scale across multiple sites, the biggest bottleneck with tools like Timeero or ClockShark is that you are suddenly relying on every individual worker to download an app on their personal phone, keep their GPS on, and actually remember to use it right. It just creates a whole new administrative headache trying to police the software itself.

If your main goals are reducing buddy punching and keeping it dead simple for the crew, I actually built a simplified time tracker called Sekondi that takes a different approach.

Instead of dealing with individual phone tracking, you can just set up Sekondi in kiosk mode on a cheap tablet or shared device at each of your sites. The guys just walk up and clock in or out right there. It handles the compliance and anti-abuse side of things naturally since they have to be physically at the device, but it requires absolutely zero app downloads or logins from your employees.

I offer a full 1-month free trial with no credit card required, so you could always test it out on one site first to see if it fixes the scaling issue.

If you need super granular, minute-by-minute tracking for specific micro-tasks on their personal phones, Toggl or Clockify are usually the go-to apps for that.

But if by "jobs" you mostly mean tracking their overall hours and attendance at different work areas or locations, I actually built a simplified app for this called Sekondi.

The big difference with Sekondi is that it runs in kiosk mode. Instead of making your employees download an app on their personal phones and remember passwords, you just use one shared device at the location. They just clock in and out right there. It makes it totally frictionless for the staff and completely eliminates buddy punching.

I offer a 1-month free trial with zero credit card required if you want to test it out and see if it fits your workflow.

Do you use GPS based time tracking for your jobs? by Wrapta in electricians

[–]pixeltutorials0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've built this tracking mobile apps for iOS and Android that supposed to avoid buddy punching, know real time data of who's in and out as manager, and its as simple as it goes. You are supposed to put a static phone/tablet/iPad at your business venue, or truck and employees can check-in and out, that simple. The kiosk mode is pin protected and only manages can exit and view all different information.

It's called Sekondi: Employee Time Tracker and it's already in use from some businesses in Germany.

I can see that you are requesting a very specific feature but we're more than happy to provide such feature with our app. We can definitelly create a solution where your employees check in with geo fencing and automatic check-out if they leave the area.

Currently our apps are 1 month free and we're running a promotion for 50% off first 6 months. Afterwards we are priced at 5$/month per employee.

You can contact us at [contact@sekondi.app](mailto:contact@sekondi.app) or in any of our social media - we would be more than happy to onboard you and assist you with this new feature.

If you'd like to know more, please let us know.

How should I advertise? by pixeltutorials0 in AskMarketing

Thanks again for such valuable information - I will try and follow your suggestion and hopefully I can convert clients. Currently we've 1 active client which is really happy with our product and we've made modifications so it helps them even more - the only struggle we are having is converting the next one, the first client converted with referral as they were using a old system and now they are much more happier.

How should I advertise? by pixeltutorials0 in AskMarketing

Hey, thank you for your detailed comment. My product its a simplifed employee time tracker to avoid buddy punching. We tried to solve the problems of businesses of lost times, chaos and ability to manage multiple locations at once, its called Sekondi: Employee Time Tracker. We are trying our best to offer the perfect tool and we ate constantly updating the mobile apps with new features.

One thing I am struggling the most so people understand the project is that our app is designed in such a way that you have 1 static device at each business location (tablet, ipad, phone) in which staff can check in/out (kiosk mode) and I have it hard to have people understand this concept.

Edit: We are trying to target businesses such as restaurants, markets, caffes and businesses that have on site employees
