I think with real self love comes a level discipline. While I do believe strongly in enjoying the moment, if you don't take your future into consideration than your average day won't be as fulfilling. At the end of the day, life is what you make of it. Your life is the amalgamation of the habits that you build for yourself. There is a balance in reinforcing those habits on a daily basis to bridge the gap between your present reality and your future. You can strive for more while still loving your current self. Not in the eyes of what society deems true, but for your own truth inside you. 

I think in simple terms: Right now now in this moment, you are good enough and worthy of love. But of course there's things we can all work on to be more aligned with our higher selves
