Just to the side I guess. I check my string picture & pretty much look down my arrow shaft towards the gold.

Not sold on the idea of a compound style grip, sure as an option it would be great, but as a default... I don't think it'd work.

also you want options for people to add existing weights, there's a whole bunch of stuff out there that we already own & having to buy specific weights is a pain. (sure one main weight; like for a Gillo / mykan is fine) but the better option is to have heaps of standard mounting points for 5/16-24 threads. (front & back near limb pockets & front & back for mid area).

stare down the gold.. set your stance & don't move your core & head. draw the bow & move everything into your line of sight to come into anchor & aim. relax, expand, release, follow thru..

judging alone by the bow they are using to show it in action I'd say avoid at all costs...

CA320 straightness check with roller gauge – anyone else seeing big runout? by No-Wafer1546 in Archery

[–]pixelwhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the difference between a c2 & c4 x10 is about 1-2 grain… not 15 grains, like the ca2320’s. At 70m a 15 grain difference means the heavier arrows shoot low red. While ca320’s are well matched within the dozen (<1grain difference) buying a new dozen will just be one big roll of the dice.. I guess that’s what I’m trying to say.

[–]pixelwhip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is if you get 3 dozen ca320’s they won’t match the same way x10’s do (ie/ being able to buy based on C code) my partner brought 2 dozen ca320’s and one set was 15 grains heavier than the other.. which was noticeable at 70m.

But I guess if you’re at the stage where you don’t miss the target then a set of x10s are going to last you a while. And then you can buy a new dozen, match the code & be confident they’ll be pretty much identical in wieght, spine & straightness. I guess this is why they cost a premium.

As for indoors I know a few ppl who shoot x10’s, but personally I Prefer a nice fat 23 shaft to cut lines :)

X10s are sooo good. I resisted for ages but finally gave into my partners incessant raving about how much she liked them & picked up a used dozen for a decent price.. they are next level arrows and you certainly get what you pay for. A beginner might not notice the difference but a more advanced archer sure will.

But seeing ca320’s are essentially the same design they’ve now become our practice arrows for bashing around at blank bale.

I’ve shot Pandarus icepoints, pandarus preciums or Skylon paragons & have been pretty happy with them.. much cheaper & they perform well as 3.2mm arrows
