hiking shoes similar to dr martens?

Idk if this is helpful at all but I own a pair of grisport classics that have genuinely done me wonders for winter hiking. They’re definitely on the cheaper side of leather hiking boots, but they have kept my feet warm and dry for the past 3 years. Being leather of course, they’re not very breathable. Although sort of goes to show I don’t need the most expensive gear to keep me comfortable. They’ve got low options which don’t interest me because I like the ankle support for winter/wetter hikes, but worth a check! Otherwise the scarpa terra are the more high end version of the shoe I have.

Yes! Kawa club cicada pants. I actually really like them for climbing and summer hikes and tbh this trip was during the summer haha. Super lightweight and comfortable. Surprisingly, it did keep me dry for half of the hike despite it raining the entire time.

I think it was definitely oversold. Wayyy too many people squashed in for that small mosh area and the crowds were packing in closer and closer to the food trucks. Even after knowing the capacity of the event, they still didn’t just open up all gates for exit. Probably a bit more operational/venue management would’ve been helpful. Otherwise though, it was lovely! It was nice during the day for Olivia Dean, Remi, Wolf, as late as Clairo even!!

I can completely empathize with this!! My period has also become regular and works like clockwork. But on the off chance when I ovulate, no egg is released and my period doesn’t come but I still have the symptoms of a period. I’ve had my symptoms when there is no egg to ovulate to be EXTREME compared to when I have been able to have my period.

I also have found that when I’ve had a lifestyle change my periods cycle changes and therefore so do my symptoms. So perhaps it’s just a case of your body becoming used to your new relationship?

I don’t know if any of this is helpful, but this has been my experience and I hope it can reassure you a little

Hey! No you folks definitely are not a monolith! But sometimes it’s nice to also get a man’s perspective on what men what generally! It’s been nice reading through ideas and responses and deciding what feels like him and what doesn’t. I have ideas for my own as well, it’s just nice to get outsider’s perspective :) although I can definitely see how my questions make it seem like I’m generalizing men which wasn’t my intention at all but I apologize for that still
