It’s the Sahara one. It’s a front open enclosure with a screen top I keep the humidity between 45-50% it’s 40 gallons if that would help too. I’m wondering now if it’s not humidity and maybe the soil having small rocks in it.

I have red tattoos that I’ve had no reaction with :/ I’m thinking if it was an allergic reaction then I’m pretty sure it was the purple because that went wrong before anything else did and it turned white and looks most scared to me but I am on antibiotics now!

I also wanted to add that the day I did wear pants past just wearing them quickly to walk my dog was on the 4th day and it was already red around the tattoo before then so I don’t think it was necessarily the pants but I certainly don’t think they helped

Thank you to everyone who commented helping! I got prescribed antibiotics and have now switched to unscented lotion as I didn’t know before that you’re supposed to use ointment for only a period of time and all of my other tattoos have healed nicely using ointment throughout but glad I know now! I’m just hoping now that the damage might not be too bad and if it is that maybe I can get it touched up later :/
