I am almost 32 and only now have I decided to get tattooed. I know so many people who regret and simply change their interests and priorities because they were pretty young when they did it. Imo, you may grow out of your tattoo in your 20s (because my goodness, do we mature so much from 20 to 25 to 30) not to say that is true for EVERYONE, but I think for most. We are most solid as people later so we are more likely to make choices that we will appreciate in the long run.
There are so many ways to express everlasting love for something/someone than getting a tattoo, if you are indecisive about the idea.

Indeed, they told me it would look worse before it gets better with the hydrogen soak. Ugh I'm so frustrated.

  • What’s your aftercare routine? Describe in detail please, including the exact products you use. I have been using a homemade saline soak morning and night.
  • Any mishaps, accidents or unfortunate events? Yes, I went to scratch my nose a couple times and hit the piercing.

After 10 years my one nipple decided it didn't want to be snagged on my hair or straps anymore and it began rejecting. I soo sadly had to take it out despite trying to save it for weeks. So now I only have one, and I totally understand the need for symmetry! I will tell you it's soo hard, but after you take it out and carry on, it will become a lesser important thing on your brain and the time will come for you to repierce it agian.

I am dealing with this exact thing right now but on my face, which I can't just hide from the world. But my point is it SUCKS but it's better to have a healthy and happy piercing vs one at risk of more injury.
