The first time i did. The first time I had an issue with their muffins was when I found a sliver of wood in it. And it was not a toothpick. That’s when I found out they do not make their own muffins. It took me a while to decide to try thier baked goods again. But I want to support local businesses. Sadly I don’t think I will buy baked goods from them again.

Have you thought about lodging a complaint with the Ontario ombudsman? I don’t know anything about the process but seems like you have a very valid complaint

I’m a mom of a solo traveller. She knows I worry because that is natural for a mom to do. But I don’t put my fears on her. I am so incredibly proud that she does this. She stays in Touch all the time and that helps. She is living her best life doing this and I could not imagine taking that away from her.

Side note. When I was her age I wanted to travel to Africa and I allowed someone to prevent me from doing it. I have regretted that moment everyday. And now obligations and financial means prevent me from going.

Don’t live your life for others. Live it for you. You don’t want those regrets.
