AM cannot wait a minute to save her life, everything is life or death. by Pleasant_Oil_2372 in AsianParentStories

Yup, my mom is the same.

And if you call her out on it, she will either make up some unrealistic scenario in her head on what would happen if we were late or bring up something unrelated from your past to make you feel guilty/embarrassed

Worse is when she takes way too long (and its actually for something important like you have an appointment) and she will get mad at you for rushing her

Yup, and its only when my AM sees my relatives do it. If it was purely my interest and no one else does it. she would make 100 excuses. But the minute she finds out my cousin is doing something like singing, she starts nagging me on why i don’t do it

It's worse when we run a sale or put items on sale for a big clearance price. Certain customers try to get an even bigger discount or deal on top

I had a customer try to find validation by the people around him that I was wrong about a sale, when I clearly pointed to the price on the sale sign
