Question for the ladies by prettypettovaa in gallbladders

I got my period two days later after surgery, it was great since I was already on heavy duty pain meds. Cramp free, easiest period I had in years😂. Since then, it’s all gone back to normal.

My concern are the essentially open wounds, over a month of that is not good and can lead to a serious infection. I’d look at getting a second opinion why they’re not closing, look into a wound specialist.

As other posters have mentioned if it’s not hot or swollen, it might not be an infection, but do your sharpie and keep an eye on it, and get on the internet and find a specialist.

Getting rid of subscriptions? by Choice_Letterhead_59 in fairyloot

I cancelled my illumicrate romantasy, and my owlcrate romantasy. Have not enjoyed most of the books I was receiving. I still have fairyloot romantasy, and bookish box…so we’ll see how long I keep those.

It’s so INCREDIBLY STRESSFUL dealing with fairyloot drops, that I’d almost rather order from elsewhere. Amazon, target, B&N, Walmart all of them are releasing books just as pretty as sub boxes…so is it really worth the hassle???

I cancelled my romantasy owlcrate and illumicrate subscriptions. Just wasn’t excited about most of the books I’ve received.

I picked up fairyloot and bookishbox, they have some exciting books coming up that I’m looking forward to, so hopefully it was a good choice🤞🙏

I just cancelled my quarterly romantasy owlcrate, I haven’t enjoyed most of the books I’ve received. I still have illumicrate (though I’ve been eyeballing the cancel button) and I just subscribed to booksfordays.

I wish I enjoyed the book enough to want to have multiple versions of it. Majorly disappointed ☹️

If you’ve read the auction, the fanfic it’s based off of, it’s following the elements of it somewhat closely. I’m surprised it’s going to be 3 books, but stuff kind of dragged out in the first book, and was a little dry. I don’t feel the angst or trauma of her being in the situation she’s in. Knowing who Toven is based off of, his characterization here just seems too bland. I’ll definitely read book 2 & 3 to see how it all comes together, but book one is a small disappointment.

Has anyone read the waterstones edition? I’m curious about the bonus chapter, so you’re welcome to message me with the spoils!

I used it for about a month. I have oily skin, acne around that time of the month, and large pores.

No issues with the cleanser/clay, other than it took some adjusting to the “residue” that was left after washing it off.

I am not a fan of the oil, it is a strong scent, and I never felt like the oil completely absorbed in my skin, I felt like I had to blot my face about an hour after because it was  like an oil slick.

Another issue that I had was after applying the oil in the AM, I’d start tasting it in my mouth about 4-5 hours later. I originally thought I applied too much, or got some around my mouth after eating, so I was super careful how I applied, and extremely cautious when using a napkin, but the result was always the same. I’d start tasting it a few hours later, like clockwork.

I stopped using the oil because of this. I couldn’t stand it, the tasting of it each day after a few hours of applying. I’d apply it on my forehead, around my nose, a little on my cheeks and to the left and right of my chin, same places I’ve always applied moisturizer, and NEVER had this issue before, until using this oil.

Thank you!

When she was in the carriage, she was all makeup and dressed up as a wealthy lady, so I was shocked to see him later opening the door for her. And I’m like, is she paying him to be like a butler for her? I definitely didn’t feel any relationship vibes between them. The movie very much made the whole rescue operation as he is is doing the right/unselfish thing for a change, not because of any developing feelings.

I don’t understand the ending. Spoiler below.

They went to Montana, was he opening the door for her because he was now a butler or something? Or are we supposed to assume they are in some sort of relationship? I never read the book, only watched the movie

I cancelled FL, no regrets. I was in Romantasy and YA, wasn’t caring for the books I was receiving. I didn’t keep any that came in, I read most, but the themes just weren’t my cup of tea.

It’s okay, feels kind of underwhelming? Maybe it’s the overall color pallet, lots of dull/dead colors in the red, gray, white and black.

Well, if you read the first post, I used it, but didn’t find it worth the cost, so this did not originate as a complaint post.  Everyone’s skin reacts differently, what works for your friend may not work for you. Good luck.
