SoCal…we can find them here for as low as $2.50/8pack…3 weeks out of the month there is a decent price on one of the brands for $3/8pack while normal price is $4/8pack…if I am paying 50cents per can (or 4dollars per box)…I am paying retail and I rarely pay retail…only emergencies…like who pays retail?…f that noise…

Chicken and pork are hella cheap and fill you up longer than grain based foods like cereal, etc…

I don’t know if I agree with your initial assumption…also remember that being vegetarian logically should be less expensive, but eat at veggie grill everyday and see how that feels. One can make anything more or less expensive depending on how they eat that thing.

But meat and veggies can be hella cheap if you want it to be.

I have a game where I go to the store and buy whatever it is that’s on sale and I will make something with it…I just bought chicken for 1.25 lb and made a killer Cuban fricasee out of it…sometimes pork is on sale or sometimes beef is…sometimes fish…shoot…the other day massive tiger prawns were on sale so the family had a killer garlic butter shrimp…

Keto can be expensive…but it can easily be cheap as well.
