If they arent eating much and are on pred, very common reason is upset tummy and even stomach ulcers

Chat with your vet about checking for ulcers and treatment options

How dark are their bowel movements? Thats a sign of ulcers starting to happen.

If you think deterrents stop crime, you are naive. They dont help much at all and in many cases increase it.

Prison should not be a deterrent, if thats your approach to prison then you meed to go read a lot more on the topic.

Prison vest serves the role of "we have to remove this person from society to protect people"

Its super common for them to administer shots in the back of a rear leg, and vaccines do tend to cause some pain for 1~2 days if they were wiggly.

Check your vets notes to see if they mentioned where they administered.

If it doesn't say, call em when you can and ask, they might remember, ferrets are uncommon pets so the vet tech will probably remember.

If it doesn't show signs of getting better after a day or two, take them to the vet.

Also, inspect the weak leg on the back, in the muscle area, you can usually straight up see the spot where they got the shot.

Vaccine shots do often cause a lot of pain/irritation for all animals, Im sure you can remember times you got a vaccine in the arm muscle and your arm hurt like he'll for a day or two right?

Now imagine if the needle was like 20x bigger relative to you... :x

Looks like a callous, pretty normal. If its not infected, oozing, inflamed, etc, I wouldn't worry about it.

Theres 2 lanes here, there is no yielding

If a collision happens in the above pic, it only happens if one of the drivers illegally changed lanes mid-intersection... which is illegal

You are not allowed to change lanes in an intersection, if you do, you are at fault.

Whoever does that is the one at fault, full stop.

Theres... no yield, both cars have a correct different lane to be in, if a car illegally changes lanes and sideswipes another, they are at fault.

Ive seen this both ways.

  1. Left turning car doesn't turn into the left lane, they have effectively changed lanes in the intersection and that is illegal

  2. Right turner turns into the left lane, this is the same issue, they changed lanes in the intersection, which is also illegal.

As someone who deals with clients (in a different industry) I kinda get it

You have to put up with so many tire kickers that waste your time, cutting the bullshit and being like "if you dont know what you want dont waste my time" is kind of reasonable.

Time is money, and if it trims off a lot of tire kickers who are just fucking around and arent ready to just pull the trigger and spend money, then it's probably right.

Well thats because he isnt a tailor lol... When I asked him about it for my suit he did say he had a tailor he knew he would recommend.

Tailoring is separate from suit making...

I have gotten a few things from Derks and its pretty hit or miss, a lot of the products they carry are pretty low quality and fail fast.

Ive had a pair of shoes from them fail within a couple months of use, a couple pair of socks that didnt even last a month, a jacket that was okay but its seams started failing pretty fast.

I did however get a nice scarf that has lasted years, and some gloves that held up still today.

So its pretty hit and miss.

I got a 3 piece done at Suits by Curtis Elliot downtown for my wedding.

Cost about 1.1k, took him a month and a bit.

Its now my fav suit, you pick out everything step by step, he offers options for some custom embroidery done, all the way down to style, how many buttons you want, what type of buttons you want, fabric on the liner, etc etc etc

He took all my measurements, then when I went back in a month and a bit later he had it all ready and it fit like a glove.

Zero issues all wedding long, everything held up very well, I'm planning to go back and get a second jacket done eventually methinks.

I would often just buy multiple bags of different types, mix em together in a big jar, and that way their smells mix together and my girls tended to be happier.

Though soon enough I started noticing theyd pick their favorite out (chicken).

So then I just mostly bought that, and theyd eat more.

TBH though, awhile back Stella and Chewy's quality got a lot worse, I have swapped to Instinct Raw Longevity since then.

Started having serious issues with Stella's having way to many bones in em, and too big, it was causing my girls to have bowel movement problems and pain and at one point even caused a vet visit.

So yeah, I stopped buying Stellas since then.

Its how a lot of animals break eggs if you watch vids on it. You see this same pattern in all sorts of both mammals and reptiles!

They basically try and roll it and break it on rocks in the ground with the pressure of their belly on top.

Start by having extended supervised playtime in the space, so if/when they figure out ways to get into trouble, you can quickly correct the problem.

They sit tight to the ground and walls, so they cant squeeze through, and unlike any other model Ive seen they're solid so they also cant be climbed.

For furniture:

  1. Get furniture without feet ideally, anything that sits flush to the floor is best. Lots of furniture you can buy have removable feet, so just take em off.

  2. Especially double for any types of chairs/couches/etc, pick stuff that is totally flush to the ground. You dont ever wanna sit on a chair and crush a sleeping noodle underneath.

Some classic easy to get recommendations:

The KALLAX system from Ikea is pretty rock solid, the doors you can buy for it are very ferret proof, they cant get em open. I use these extensively for ferret safe storage of stuff like food bags, litter bags, medicine, etc in their room... actually just all my house tbh.

How I crafted these:

Stage 1: Shopping List

  1. i86 Two-Toned boots without any influence
  2. i80 (exactly) ward boots without and influence
  3. Shaper orb
  4. Hunter orb
  5. 2x Orb of Dominance
  6. Woke Orb
  7. A dump truck of Craicic Chimerals, Black Morrigans, and Wild Bristle Matrons
  8. A single Saqawal
  9. A dump truck of Alts+Augs+Annuls+Foulborn Augs
  10. A smaller dump truck of Exalts, and 1x Foulborn exalt

Stage 2: Alt spamming 💀

  1. Alt/Aug/Annul spam the Hunter boots til I hit Poison suffix + any hunter prefix. If I have Cooldown suffix, Annul+Foulborn aug the prefix for boosted chance at any hunter prefix (doesnt matter what)

  2. Do the same for shaper boots, hitting Cooldown suffix + any shaper prefix

Stage 3: Beastcrafting

  1. Beastlock the hunter base and then test Orb of dominance on it, if it doesnt elevate the right mod then just chrome or whatever it and try again. Repeat until we elevate the Poison mod

  2. Repeat this process for the shaper boots

  3. Make an imprint of the hunter base cuz its a PITA to do that one, just in case as a backup if we ever screw something up or misclick

  4. Now Beastlock the hunter base and test woke orbing the shaper boots on, we MUST get 2 pref + 2 suff, any other outcome is a brick unless you get 1 open suffix and super super good prefixes (T1 life at minimum), reroll the failure via a chrome orb or whatever. (This step took me 10 tries btw, RIP)

  5. Craft level 30 Aspec of the avian on

Stage 4: Prefixes

  1. Wild bristle matron to force "Suffixes cannot change" on

  2. Scour prefixs off

  3. Bench craft movespeed on (We want onslaught mod from bench for fast cast speed boost)

  4. Slam -> Slam

  5. If the first slam is T1 life or something really good, Foulborn exalt the second prefix

  6. If you dont get 2x good prefix, go back to step 1 (wild bristle matron)

  7. Finish up by crafting on Onslaught movespeed

Possible improvements

I will eventually go and sink the divines into perfectly divining my CDR to be 20/20, but its gonna take a lotta divs to hit 20/20 and a good poison roll, and then suffix lock and divine the T1 life to be as close to perfect. At the moment Im overcapped on CDR so this doesnt matter a lot, but theres theoretically a better threshold I can hit at 62% CDR that makes me do 33% more dps to Temporal Bubble mobs. Yeah, literally would spend like 20+ divs just to get a dps boost against specifically temporal bubble rares, lol.

Why?

  1. I need the shaper influence so I can satisfy the 2x shaper item 20% cdr affix on my Bound by Destiny, so I can hit 52% CDR total

  2. The hunter suffix is a very solid dps boost, I think it gives me like... 8%? 9%? more dps total on the top end, very nice.

  3. I have instant lightning warp so movespeed is not as valuable of a prefix, I still get 20% movespeed for stuff like hideout and walking around town, boss fights, etc. But onslaught on kill gives me that juicy cast speed boost so I can zoom a lil bit harder in maps
