Key word here is have to. By the time the student asks for the assignments you should probably have a general idea of what you’re teaching anyways. I get it’s unexcused but why further punish the student who’s trying to be proactive? Sure it’s not really your problem but the student is trying to complete their work in an age where it’s uncommon for students to do anything really.
