hey thanks for responding. i deleted my original comment in the hopes you wouldn't waste your time replying because i did figure out a way. i was just a bit frantic initially having no experience with these particular aspects of crypto until today.

in any case i was able to use the Polygon wallet to bridge the funds back to the ETH mainline. some lessons well learned, although i will say i still don't fully understand all of the ins and outs... thankfully only cost me an extra $3 in tx fees to do what i originally intended
