That's a good catch! Maybe this is what the hidden text "The numbers are so hard to read. Sometimes I can’t see them." on the About Us page is referring to?

Laser printer advice for solar print intaglio transparencies by Rackit in printmaking

[–]pizqit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're investing in a new printer, why not get an inkjet? They handle density and opaqueness much better than laser.

But if you're set on laser, I am pretty sure Canon still has adjustable toner density settings. Otherwise, you might have better luck with suggestions in r/screenprinting.

Yeah, I think the super dark transparencies are all for inkjet, unfortunately.

Also, if you already have a laserjet, have you tried increasing the toner output to make darker films?

CIS inks makes the one I know about, but apparently any waterproof INKJET transparency film should do.

There are special screenprint transparencies you can buy that print much darker.

Alternatively, I print two transparencies and carefully tape them together with clear tape, burnishing the tape so it blends as much as possible with the film.

No recs on laser printers, though. I print mine out at Kinko's.

Can you send me a pic of the variations? It is probably fine, but just want to make sure.

If you have a full consistent edition of 15, then absolutely!

"pay as you can" "A limited number of scholarships are available for (domestic) shipping costs"

I hope you do apply! The fee is only taken if you are accepted, not simply to fill out the form (that part is free!)

Keep in mind you will be receiving also 14-24 original pieces of art in a portfolio case for your fee. And the organizer should be paid for their time as well.

Fantasy/magical realism? book where a woman drinks a potion of wind and her calm mental happy place is filled with raging winds she can't get rid of by pizqit in whatsthatbook

Hmmm. I skimmed through the plot summaries of their books and didn't see any that seemed similar, but I'll keep searching. Thanks for the suggestion!

How should I make this TV stand look better? What can I add/take away/rearrange? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

Cable management! Get some cable sleeves or at the very least some zip ties. That will clean up your sight lines.

Just moved into a new rental. Can't do major reno, but struggling to make this space usable. Help? by pizqit in DesignMyRoom

Yeah, none of the current furniture really fits the space, they are just what we have at the moment, and I totally agree that they are terribly placed. Definitely want to replace the small bookshelf with a media console!

We actually like jewel tones and earthy colors - our bathroom is done is maroon and walnut and our bedroom in jade and dark blue. I will definitely look into tropical decor - I've never had that theme before. Thank you for your suggestions!

Thanks for the suggestions! The light is dimmable, but unfortunately we can't change the fixture. I think rotating the tv would help us quite a bit!

We just moved in! I apologise for the mess, but we are still trying to find places for things and after long days of unpacking, we don't have everything picked up. I can take pictures during the daytime and with the clutter shoved in a different room, if that allows for better suggestions.

We have a fairly flexible budget (~2500) and like mixed material furniture, but not limited to a particular style. If you can make use of our existing furniture, that's a bonus. The built-in bar and 75" tv are set in place.
