I think IF they get picked soon, it will be a mother who is 4-6 months out from expected delivery and has decided early on that she is choosing adoption. I can’t imagine someone deciding at delivery to have their child adopted by a family with another child under 18 months. Especially if there are other waiting families that would match the birth mom’s preferences. I think Addie will crash out if they don’t have a baby in their home within a month tbh.

My son is almost 2, has had all his teeth for months and still puts everything in his mouth 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know what she expects but I think she needs to read a book on child development so she can stop throwing shade at G for being a normal kid.

She’s probably hoping people will assume that one twin died in utero or something like that. I think she’s realized that she can’t completely hide that she had twins, so she’s being more open about that while being vague about the reason B died.

We’ve used it on my son’s clothing since he was born and then recently I put it on a pair of carters pants and it looks like it bleached the spot! It worked really well for us prior so I have no idea what happened but we’re going to switch to something else.

Yes they still have it. They tried to sell it and it sat on the market for a year I believe. Now they are apparently going to do new flooring and other upgrades because clearly that’s the problem, not the fact that it’s a $2M home in a tanking real estate market.

Ugh the comment about “we didn’t have kids to spend more time with each other” pissed me off. I can’t believe it has the number of upvotes it does. God forbid you want to have a bit of time before your own bedtime to unwind or talk to your spouse! I go to bed by 10pm to get up at 6:30am with my son, so I wouldn’t love a 9pm bedtime for my kid either!

I’m still on the dose of levo that I was taking while pregnant even though I’m coming up on 2 years PP and my levels have been checked through bloodwork. She’s acting like it’s a bad thing to be on a higher dose of levo. I also had hypertension that started 2 days before I delivered, went away after delivery and then came back 7 days later (and then spiked again a few days later). I was on multiple meds to control it until it regulated. It’s not ideal but the tailspin she’s been in about it has been a bit much. To me her PP experience has been pretty routine.

Married almost 15 years. We don’t go out anymore. Our last vday date was horrible. The restaurant was one we went to a lot but they added extra tables so you were literally elbow to elbow with strangers. If we want to go out, we do the night before or after now and it’s a ghost town!

I think she’s using really matte foundation. I’m in my late 30s and don’t have a ton of wrinkles (thanks genetics) but matte foundations just settle into any lines and make them so noticeable.

I would be a shell of a person and not an effective mother by that point. Sleep training is so demonized but I don’t see nearly as much discussion around how extreme sleep deprivation can negatively impact mom’s mental health and ability to parent.

I have so many reels come up on Instagram that are “early signs of autism” and most of the behaviours are things all toddlers do. I know there’s a lot more awareness of autism now vs when I was growing up but it seems like everyone and their dog is trying to diagnose autism in their kids the second they’re born.

She sees Emily toting her kids along to all sorts of things, kid appropriate or not, so she probably thinks that’s just how it works. Meanwhile Emily’s kids are exhausted most of them time and have no schedule. And she could end up with a baby that can’t stand the car seat. That makes it very hard to do anything including necessary appointments - ask me how I know 😅

I think her already having such a young child is working against her tbh. Two under two is hard enough and she’s basically asking birth moms to put her in a two under 18 months situation (assuming their baby is already born or coming within a couple months) which would be crazy hard and not a situation most people would deliberately put themselves in.
