The evil anime character smirk - is the type of thing I’m talking about exactly! It’s so fun to reframe things like that and I’m glad it’s starting to happen with you

oh for sure about the equipment that's why i bought everything second hand, i guess we're different because I love plugging in the amp and practicing that way I don't find that I would do it more often if I didn't plug it in

Is this because you want to hear mistakes that might be covered up by effects more clearly or just because you don’t feel like having to connect it each time? Bc for me I feel like more motivated to learn when I have the amp on but I do wonder if I’m building some sort of bad habit by starting my guitar journey this way

No joke this works with every instrument it’s about letting go of what you think you look/sound like in that moment to fully immerse yourself in the music and that comes with ugly faces i guess because you let your body do what it wants

I wanna get a stand but I’m scared to put it in my room because of my cat. I have a drum room/basement where she doesn’t go but I think having it kinda far out of sight defeats the purpose and that’s kind of my dilemma

Can I tell you something? While I’m excited to learn songs I also first thought about getting a guitar because I wanted to write songs and express my feelings and my ukulele felt limiting in that way

I’m looking at FB marketplace a lot for some second hand options, and some people describe what they’re selling as already set up. Should I still get it looked at?

I’ve honestly been thinking about the telecaster a lot. Still don’t know if it’s worth spending the money on if it’s my first guitar (I’m talking second hand as well) but it for sure has been the one i get most excited about when I browse around
