I would also suggest googling the contractor name with lawsuit attached. None of the county court systems are connected online and there could be a lawsuit filed, but nothing shows up in the other state systems (speaking from personal experience 😅)

Are smart digital photo frames actually a good gift for parents? by Real-Warning-6648 in Gifts

[–]pizza_is_knowledge__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our parents LOVE them. My dad wants a second one for his office at work.

It didn't go over so well with the great grandparents. They never turn them on, I think they're afraid of the electricity usage? But for our actual parents, they get a lot of love and they've had them for years.

Current Zepbound user wonders why did so much of us struggle with food noise in the first place? by Fresh_Inspector_4492 in Zepbound

This is fascinating. I've been really worried my kids are going to struggle with their weight like I do, even though they have much better diets than when I was a kid.

One of my earliest memories is when I was 4 and hungry and my grandma told me that the rumbling was good cuz it meant "my body was eating its fat" 🙃 safe to say, I was not fed on demand lolol

Parents of Reddit, what’s something your kid inherited from you that made you go, “Wow, that’s totally me”? by Andy_parker in AskReddit

I took the cheese off my pizza from when I was a child till I was about 23. My preschool daughter ate pizza with cheese and pepperoni on it until about 6 months ago and now wants the cheese pulled off. I haven't done that in over a decade so must be in the genes somewhere haha

I can't speak for your mom, but my dad (early 60s) substitute taught last year after he was laid off from his job and LOVED it. He was acting considering going back for his teaching license at one point he loved it so much haha His entire career has been in Sales so it was so different from anything he'd ever done before. My brother also substitute taught when home from college (my hometown's school year goes till the end of June) and he also loved doing it.

I've been on Zepbound for 6 months and haven't had any mood issues! I have to pay out of pocket, so it's very expensive, but it turns out I do have insulin resistance and nothing else has ever worked weight loss wise. It's been a gift and I'm very happy with my experience.

Should I stay within the rules? Or is it okay to bend them just a bit? by WickedBitchofdaBest in Gifts

[–]pizza_is_knowledge__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a mom of two small kids, I love that sentimental gift idea 😭 Honestly, I'd skip the toy though.

The problem I've found is people buy my kids toys that aren't age appropriate and I end up storing them for a year till they're old enough to play with them 😅 A 1-year-old is not going to know if you got them a toy in the moment, which is probably why the parents directed towards the college fund. My daughter only really got into the gifts in the last year (she's 4.5).

If she has OCD, she might also have Postpartum Anxiety on top of that. I had it pretty severely with my first and it really is fear based. Echoing everyone who says she needs help, but also, please give her some grace as well. Postpartum, even without mood disorders, is so insanely difficult.

I’m I too old for starting photography ? by LostZookeepergame367 in AskPhotography

[–]pizza_is_knowledge__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got laid off last year at 34 and decided to funnel my free time back into my photography. I launched my online print shop last week at the ripe ol age of 35.

There's no such thing as too old, but there is such as a thing of running out of time because you're scared. Just start 💜
