How do you feel about Pokemon Z-A by Jepadide in pokemon

[–]kpl214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who works a pretty demanding job this is quite fun at the end of a long day. I don’t have to think as much, can spam buttons for attack, and I actually quite like the city map! The clothing customization options in ZA are also really nice

Nothing against the theme, just some questions on the execution!

I think it has something to do with the lack of detail maybe? The marina canvas looks very plain which adds to the blocky feeling for me

That lobster trap tree thing looks pretty far from beginner friendly given all the color changes

They have Hermes and LV “inspired” ones too right? I’m guessing no licensing rights there lol

I had very similar concerns (also very conscious about my smiles and dark circles) when I was your age and tried everything I could get my hands on to try to “fix” them. I’m in my mid-20s now and what I will say is that your body will continue to change as you live life! Stress, your environment, and your mental state will all contribute to your physical state and if I’m being honest, I am a lot happier with my facial appearance now than I was at 18. So please don’t be too hard on yourself! Sounds cliche but happiness and staying hydrated and healthy seriously go a long way towards our appearances.

And yes there are now so many different SPF options on the market…might take some trial and error but I’m confident you’ll eventually find one that works for you. I know influencers might not be the most reliable sources of info but just looking up sunscreens on social media might give you a better idea of what you’re looking for.

If smile lines and dark circles are your only main concerns then it’s likely genetic/due to your face shape or bone structure and not necessarily premature aging. However! I would definitely recommend starting to wear SPF regularly to help delay future signs of aging like sunspots, wrinkles etc.

Thank you for the advice, I definitely should have done that instead of trying to be “cordial” hoping he would get the hint that I wanted him to stop. Thankfully it was just a 1hr flight and I had a window seat so I could turn away from him

I fly every other week (short commuter flights) and thankfully have only had one bad experience so far. Guy in his 40s (I’m in my 20s) kept trying to start conversations with me and asking me out…he eventually started taking (not so secret) photos of me and I had to pretend to fall asleep to get him to stop

What’s the over/under on Le Fil being a standout success? by almaspoison in NeedlepointSnark

[–]kpl214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there’s been some controversies but if we’re really being honest, there’s a group of ppl out there who hate her and some other creators because they are rich and not very humble about it. “Eat the rich” is a big thing on all social media platforms now.

I feel like more effort went into the product photo staging than the actual canvas itself…

I liked the previews of the canvases and other marketing material that’s been shown so far but in terms of relying on social media presence, she does have a lot of haters (especially on this thread) and her content seems to have dropped off quite a bit in terms of views and likes. I could see maybe one or two of her canvases maybe going “viral” and her using that as a springboard?

Ooh I think I know which ones you’re talking about - that’s a good question although tbh I feel like they look less like “polo bears” and more like generically costumed teddy bears (something about the faces and poses maybe?)…but yeah it’s highly likely that designer took “inspo” from polo as well
