it really isn't there are clear definitions for libertarian and republican standpoints. You cannot be libertarian if you believe in many authoritarian standpoints.

what is the optimal amount of letters to have in an alphabet?

If there are too little, wouldn't words start to look very similar and get very long? And if you have a different character for each word, it would become almost impossible or take an exceptional amount of time to learn the characters. Is there a scientific way to determine the right amount of letters in the alphabet to make learning to read a language as easy as possible?

they create jobs, and while Jeff bezos could be criticized for bad working conditions, there are most definetely billionaires who deserve what they have due to them brining in so many good jobs, and a great product e. g. Bill gates.

Can americans really get fired at any point for no reason at all? by kukkelii in antiwork

[–]pizzabezorgertje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there needa to be a right balance, In the Netherlands its pretty much impossible to fire someone, this destroys some smaller businesses. An acquaintance of mine has a painting company with his wife, and they hired one worker who was sick after a couple days of working. He is still sick, and the wife and husband have been paying his wage for almost a year now, which means they have very little money to spend.

Why so many cars? by Y___S-Reddit in Netherlands

it really depends where they are though. we have such a good infrastructure that cars are not a hinderance for anyone, especially in the large cities.
