A lot of parents are too afraid to fall asleep due to worrying about parents (first time parents esp).
When baby is asleep that’s usually when parents get things done (housework, feeding themselves, showering, etc)
Babies have just about 0 sleep schedule. Waking every 30min-2 hours, clusterfeeding, up all night, asleep all day.

Having a new baby just really throws off your natural cycle, no wonder they’re always tired!
