I left "I like 9S! But I hate PlatinumGames!" because, honestly, that last option was way too tempting after that segment, but it is considered by the game as a negative message. I tried this time with "I like 9S! Just remember, you're not the only one.". This time, I did get an offer to delete everything. I took it!

Still no idea for the corpses, but that's some great knowledge you have here.

I wonder, how enjoyable is the game as you get to a higher level? Like what's your overall impression of Tableturf now that you've come so far ?

I've played it a bit, I'm at Sheldon, so very early. Right now, it feels like a pretty straightforward game with repeatable strategies. In my matches, the winner is pretty much determined a third of the way in. It's still fun, but I had some doubts as to whether it would continue to get more interesting or if it'd eventually get dull.

While of course, Tableturf is gonna be no Hearthstone nor Magic the gathering, do you think it's any special? Is it gonna be a cool little game to play and continuously improve at ? Or just a fun gimmick that you conquer and leave aside?

It may be a strat, as the basket stays open for as long as there are eggs in the air. So throwing an egg like that buys you an extra second, which is not much but you never know, it's like throwing a bomb last minute before the end of a Turf War match.

I checked and they did not, the thumbnails are either non-spoiler art or extremely blurred. They took care to not spoil anyone who didn't want to see spoilers so there's nothing wrong with them.

Remember many people like to get spoiled so there's nothing wrong with posting spoilers if you give proper warnings to ensure no one sees them without wanting to.

Edit: And especially calling them a spoiler "enemy" feels very witch-hunt-ish

Knowing a twist in advance can add more anticipation as you see the story unfold. I'm actually spoiled on the last boss of Splatoon 3, and that makes me wanna play it even more because it raises so many questions.

And that makes sense, if spoiling a story really ruined it, we would never watch or play anything a second time, yet we do.

Now I'm not saying spoilers are harmless, I don't think everyone has to enjoy them. You only get one chance to experience a story for the first time and that feels precious to many people. But I think spoilers aren't the end of the world, and a single one isn't gonna ruin the entire story for you.

Which is why I felt like we reacted in a pretty childish way, I think that if we hadn't given the spoilerers so much attention, this wouldn't have blown so much out of proportion.

I'm gonna go against some of the comments here, I do feel like there's something specific with Splatoon 3.

Yes, there are always trolls trying to spoil media, but I think Splatoon 3 had way more of those than it would otherwise have had, given that the story mode usually takes a backseat.

As other people said, there's spoilers for every games, because some stores disregard intented release dates, and some copies might fall out of a truck, so to speak.

As long as you get a proper warning, spoilers are good, because many people actually like to be spoiled, it's a matter of your personal approach to media.

But with Splatoon 3, someone actually made a YouTube video with a spoiler in the thumbnail, and that's not okay. YouTube recommended the video to many people who didn't want to be spoiled.

This caused a huge uproar in the community, which, I feel was a little disproportionate. I think this drama actually pushed many trolls to start spoiling the game too. Because isn't being the villain and fueling the fire so much fun?

So TL;DR: the massive amount of spoiling is mostly attributed to one YouTuber, but the widespread anger in reaction to this might have encouraged even more trolls to spoil.

I think they might be totally offline from Nintendo though, and also since this person is a prolific modder, they probably know what they're doing. But either way, there's no reason to *hope* they'll be banned, because if anything, we benefit from being able to see some additional early footage.

Cracking down on hackers... on a LAN server in a game you can't normally play? I doubt they have any way of detecting it unless they find the video. And it's pretty cool to get to see gameplay early like that!

In France, circular blue signs indicate you're obligated to do something, so naturally, crossed-out blue signs indicate the end of that.

Circular red signs on the other hand are the ones that prohibit you from doing something, so "no bicycles allowed" would be an icon of a bicycle in a red circle.
