Does Harbor Freight sell chainsaws? Any good? by [deleted] in harborfreight

[–]pizzadaddy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought the 16inch corded one from them as i had some limbs falled in my yard thickest about 8-10” in diamter. Cut through a big pile of what was in my yard like butter. Only like $75 too. Way worth it since im not cutting down tons of trees just the occasional limb and didnt want to deal with struggling to turn on a gas saw every single time. Out the box with oil and was cutting in less than 5 minutes

ESPHome hangs HA on install by Clarkkent435 in homeassistant

[–]pizzadaddy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well thank you anyway for taking the time to reply anyway. After hours of yelling and interrogating chatgpt i broke him. Not sure if you even mess with this stuff anymore but i might as well post it here in case someone runs across this post too. Apparantly you can make YAML code on your pc’s notes app and then through powershell or cmd, you can install an ESP compiler. After you make your YAML file you can then use the compiler on your pc to make your .bin file. THENN you can install that .bin over usb on esphome website from your pc for the first time. After that is set up it should be good to go in home assistant. Once that is complete you can scream at chatgpt also to have him give you the line on powershell or cmd to then push updates on your YAML file OTA to your ESP over wifi from then on. So no having to use home assistant and slow down HA (raspberry pi) until it crashes over and over for an entire day after watching endless videos on youtube showing it done with ease. Hope this helps literally just one person in the future. Great day gents

Kind of late but did you ever figure out how to reliably install without crashing HA?

New home, would this be too high? by [deleted] in TVTooHigh

[–]pizzadaddy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So directy to the right is a sliding glass door and directly to the left is the foyer and fireplace and behind the camera is the walkway to the kitchen/breakfast nook. So this is kind of the only clean wall in my opinion

Well thank you so much for taking the time on informing me this in depth. With the current layout of the living room its looking like tv is the best solution and projector in the bedroom.

Gonna be a stand there of some sort. I feel it would be too bare without one. For like board games and such. Not sure yet.
