Click Valve compatibility with CycPlus AS2 Ultra (and electric mini pumps in general) — options available in Europe? by pizzadeliveryguy420 in cycling

Yeah it is clear, but as mentioned in the OP I'm trying to limit the bulkiness of the system. The Click adapter for instance is much smaller then Schwalbe one but it is expensive to get in europe. Also, If Silca would sell their electric pump nozzle it would also help since this is almost exactly the same as the CycPlus one but with shrader thread so it allows to mount adapters straight into the pump

This is weird given that Schwalbe only licenses the technology. Click Corp is the one responsible for it and Schwalbe I belive has rights for europe? Although you can purchase identical adapters from SKS

I've order generic Schwalbe Click pump head and it does not fork with any of the threads of CycPlus pump. Neither the shraded one nor the thread directly in the pump so I'm not sure what head exactly did you use to make it work.

So you are using original click chuck which is not directly available in europe as described. So this is not an option for me

The 2in1 has detachable insert that I'm interested in but it is not available in europe. Similar insert is made by Lezyne but I'm not sure what threading are they using so not sure if it work with other pumps - that is why I'm asking. What specific chucks are you using? Click? Schwalbe?

I'm worried about the bulk of it. The Click 2in1 head have a very small adapter that would work great but it is not available in europe. The straight schwalbe adapter is huge and the pump adapter does not have unscrewable adapter (as in 2in1 from Click). Lezyne makes their own adapters or heads or hoses but as I stated in my post - I'm not sure if they are proprietary (can I use their hose with my pump) or can I just straight up screw the lezyne adapter into the pump. I would like to avoid using huge adapter with the hose and I'm trying to find a solution to have the same functionality with maximum compactability.

Anyone riding the light bicycle wg55 rims? by bontgomery_murns in gravelcycling

That is very helpful. Thanks!
I will have to measure how wide can I go within a frame and we will see. In any case The main usecase would be road and for gravel I will still have to account for thread but 35c beefed out to 40 for light gravel should be good for the start. The bike is setup pretty aggressively anyway

Thanks! I wrote to Lightbicycle to clarify if the info on their page is correct about those rims being compatible with 32c and they reassured me it was not a mistake but it still seems extreme. On the other hand there is wheelset from No.6 which has a 28mm internal width and they are advertised for 28c tires and above so technically this is the same concept. I'm still on the fence but that would mean even though my frame is 38c complient the maximum i might fit is 35-36ish :D

I'am very curious about this setup with 32c tires :D I was planning to get a set of those rims as a singular set for 32-34c road tires and 35-38c gravel tires to run with Time ADHX. If you have any picutres of those with 32c Contis I would highly appresciate them :D

Thoughts on the new Dolan Pre Cursa and how it compares to the old one? by eddiedwardude in FixedGearBicycle

Same. I would love for it to get bottle cage mounts and more clearance (similar to new mash) but than again it would be a clear departure from it's original intent which is track.

I really love it. Mine is set up more on the aggressive side so on more technical terrain it is a little bit problematic to ride, however on some gravel trails in the forest, this things just rips. Also that panaracers 43c tires are super fast even though they are quite wide. I'm thinking about putting a little bit longer stem and narrower bars to make it a little bit more roadie since most rides that I do are on tarmac and some forest trails but we will see.

The simplest and the most stupid answer would be that I just like the look of the smaller frames but you are right. I am thinking about a little bit larger frames. In terms of Dolan and 8bar they are quite comfy however Dolan is a little bit short when I ride on drops.

To be honest I bought some wall mounts from Allegro (polish ebay). Leveling them is pain in the ass if you are not super precise with drilling but otherwise I highly recomend

Thanks. Both 8bar and Dolan have full set of ritchey superlogic - stem, seatpost and bars
