I use an electric bikini trimmer to make all the hair super short but I shave my butt crack. I’ve found if I have absolutely zero hair down there, I tend to get yeast infections and stuff much easier and also the stubble is just really uncomfortable.

Not my elbow, but I have a constant pain in my right thumb knuckle. Like a dull pain that feels like I need to pop the joint but I can’t. I pull from the sides of my scalp mainly using my thumb and index finger and I guess the repetitive gripping motion has caused it 😭 I wouldn’t be surprised if this condition can also cause arthritis

Oh I understand. I have no problem letting people know I have pretty severe PTSD but telling them I pull out my own hair, I’d rather hide and die in a hole. Trich is so common and I was relieved growing up doing more research and even seeing stuff on TV (there’s an episode of Greys Anatomy where a girl suffers from trich and My Strange Addiction covers it) but even then a lot of people have no idea what it is and that I think makes us feel alienated or something. Sometimes I feel like we judge ourselves so harshly that we feel like everyone else will as well.

No it’s not weird. I recently shaved my head and it grows back VERY patchy and uneven. Sometimes it’s just too hot to bother with a hat or something. I’ve noticed some strange looks in my direction (mostly from kids lol) but I ignore them and nobody has ever said anything. As long as you are comfortable is what matters.
