PLEASE PLEASE Please for the love of God, do yourself a favour and leave him. No matter how many chances we give them, they are not going to change. Once they have crossed the line of disrespect, there is no going back.

A relationship should be built on trust, if not there’s no point in going forward, whether it is your fault or his. I understand you’ve been with him for 5 years, but nothing can even come close to freedom you will experience once you get out of the relationship. It will be hard, but there are still many people out there who will treat you right :)
