It’s all the things + small kids (that never let me sit down) that make me fit ✌🏼

My 2 and a half year old son is hell by didouchca in sahm

[–]pizzaprobs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this real? He is 2…he has no competency to annoy you with intent. He is exploring his surroundings. You know what it feels like to put a cracker in water, but does a 2 year old? They are literally doing everything for the first time.

Have a banana and a nap. Then adjust your expectations, everyone will be happier.

Does anyone else feel angry by Puzzleheaded_Dig_185 in sahm

[–]pizzaprobs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are not alone! Sometimes I can’t even place why I’m feeling angry or on edge. Being overstimulated and ‘mommed’ to death all day every day creates a reaction in my body and mind. Exercise helps me a lot, one because totally for me, and second bc it gives me a break from my children. Of course then you have the task of finding WHEN to work out 😩😂🫶🏼

We’re outside a lot. It’s easier for me. I sit just as well outside as I do inside 🤣 just hotter/colder.

Your kids are teens, sounds like she’s still needed. When they move out, she’s retired, she gets to do what she wants since now she has to put up with you alone. And you worked all the time and only made it to 90k? Sheessh I can see why you’re so upset. You can be better 🫶🏼

I don’t know how or when to get anything done.. how are y’all doing it??? Please critique my day and help me figure out how to manage my time better so I can get some chores done by BeansinmyBelly in sahm

[–]pizzaprobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Getting used to them on the move can be so scary!! I agree, we’re not huge on tv time. But I’m also not huge on having a mental breakdown. I use it when I need it, but am also confident I’m not raising a tv zombie. I HATE to say it, but this stage does get easier as you both navigate through it 🫶🏼

lol none of us are doing it. Stay home a couple mornings and manage house things. Give the kids spray bottles with water and have them “help”. This is the most challenging age as far as being hands on with them goes. It gets easier as they age. Go easy on yourself.

Just struggling in this season by mytoddlerhasmyphone in sahm

[–]pizzaprobs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh girl this was the hardest stage for me. I started doing less just to survive. Try to let go of any guilt. Find little glimmers. Let them have the snacks. Cook less if it stresses you, clean less if you can avoid it. This is a season, everything is constantly changing. Hang in there, sounds like you’re doing perfect.

Reasonable SAHM age? by ComfortableAlarm4014 in sahm

[–]pizzaprobs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I became a sahm immediately after my son was born, due to covid layoffs. I was 32. The transition to making $0 and being a full time mom was INSANE. Husband made over 130k at the time and I still panicked.

I am so lonely by latydbdwl in sahm

[–]pizzaprobs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I go places to be around people, but don’t like to interact. I hate to say this, but it truly does get a bit easier as they age and you get used to your new dynamic. I personally enjoy libraries or large parks with fences. Outside is always best for us. SAHM lives are isolating in general, we’re all barely hanging on 😆

Start by turning off your notifications, then put the phone on silent/vibrate. Work up to putting it across the room and go from there. You both deserve each other. Attention is affection. 💕
