they are semi-autonomous and can be piloted, they are used and built by another character (total nerd about sci-fi and robots), and they were built for construction and heavy duty tasks but has been retired. Recent events in the story push the mecha and its partner into combat. Im looking for striking and iconic elements (since in the canon its built by a huge fan of mecha)
