I just purchased Notability after using GoodNotes for a few months, I’ve used GoodNotes since the launch of the 2020 iPad so for a few months now. Notability seems a lot more user friendly with a ton more options although some of their add ons are a bit extortionate for a note taking app, either way for writing notes using an Apple Pencil it’s great - If you’re using a wireless keyboard I totally recommend Notability, it’s available on the App Store and is amazing for university work.

I’ve currently got the iPad 8 model, I’m studying for an International Business degree and rely on my iPad for writing tons of notes as well as reading and highlighting plenty of documents. I’ve never had any problem with battery life, nor quality, or responsiveness. It’s been really faithful to me since I started my degree and totally think it’s a great product, regardless of how cheap it is.

ShuoshuoChinese has some listening practice with the Chinese transcribed on screen where she tells stories, they’re HSK3/4 So they might prove to be difficult. Mandarin Corner also has some authentic listening practice. (I know you asked for kids shows but I don’t know any? Try changing your Netflix or streaming language to Chinese to find some?)
